Jackie Lombardi

Jackie is a senior associate on RMI’s Urban Transformation team, which focuses on helping cities around the world simultaneously reduce emissions, enhance urban livability, increase resilience, and advance social equity.

Jackie works closely with cities and counties to provide technical assistance on various climate resilience topics. Her primary work includes facilitating cohorts of local government leaders on clean energy procurement, building electrification, residential solar campaigns, brownfields redevelopment, and transportation and land use projects. She also provided direct support to cities on utility engagement and climate action planning through the Bloomberg Philanthropies’ American Cities Climate Challenge.

Background

Prior to RMI, Jackie worked in renewable project development and origination at Invenergy. In this role, she developed utility-scale solar, wind, battery, and HVDC transmission projects across Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas.

Before Invenergy, Jackie was a project manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). She supported various cleantech incubator and accelerator programs through the lab’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center.
