Laura is a manager in RMI’s Carbon-Free Transportation team. She leads the Battery Circular Economy Initiative, aimed at advancing a circular, resilient, and responsible EV battery supply chain that can help meet the growing demand for EVs while respecting human rights, the environment, and public health.

Background

Laura has 13 years of experience in engaging stakeholders and advising companies through her roles in nonprofits, government, and the private sector. Immediately prior to joining RMI, Laura was a senior manager in the Company Network team at Ceres, where she worked with Fortune 500 companies in the transportation, electric power, retail, and real estate sectors to integrate environmental and social sustainability into their business practices and strategic planning. Additionally, Laura led efforts at Ceres to make circularity a strategic priority for the organization. Her experience working with automakers and key stakeholders in the transportation sector and her expertise on circularity led her to join the BCEI team in 2023.
