Nicole serves as the Multilateral/Bilateral Lead at RMI. In this role, Nicole supports the organization’s multilateral and bilateral funding vertical through the project management of proposals, post-award reports coordination, and donor and opportunity data management, among other duties.

Background

Nicole brings a perspective of sustainable international development to her work at RMI, as well as a background in nonprofit business development, grants and contracts management, cross-sector engagement, and public-sector funding.

Prior to joining RMI, Nicole worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as an Interim Senior Specialist for Grants and Contracts in Seattle. In this position, Nicole drafted a high volume of standard grant and contract agreements, conducted organizational due diligence, and ensured grantee and vendor compliance. Before that, Nicole worked at Landesa, a land rights-focused international nonprofit, where she supported public-sector business development for the organization’s work in the Global South. Nicole also has experience working with CDP, a global environmental and climate data reporting system; Millennium Challenge Corporation, an independent US Government foreign aid agency; and Agenda Antártica, a grassroots environmental nonprofit in Buenos Aires. She is fluent in Spanish.
