Yiyuan joined RMI in December 2022 as a senior research and data analyst on the Knowledge Management team. Her work involves identifying valuable data sources and automating collection processes to create easily accessible internal databases for RMI staff and presenting information and analyses using data visualization techniques and interactive dashboards.

Background

Prior to joining RMI, Yiyuan served as an information management assistant at the International Monetary Fund for two years. She works in the World Economics Studies division, which provides economic research support to the flagship publication, World Economic Outlook, and building and maintaining the Common Surveillance Databases. While pursuing her master’s degree from John Hopkins University, Yiyuan worked as a research assistant in several multilateral organizations and think tanks, including the World Bank, Institute of International Finance, and Atlantic Council.
